2024 International Forum on Healthy Farming of Fisheries

1. Background of the Forum

Guangdong's fishery industry is an important part of China's fishery industry. In 2022, the total output value of Guangdong's fishery economy is 430.961 billion yuan, and the total output of aquatic products is 8.940,300 tons, ranking first in the country.

Guided by the spirit of the Party's 20 National Congress, in order to promote the high-quality development and modernization of the fishery, promote the revitalization of the countryside and the integration of the fishery three industries. Under the guidance of Guangdong Provincial Agricultural Technology Extension Center and Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "2024 (Guangdong) Fishery Healthy Aquaculture Forum" sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Fisheries Association and South China Sea Fisheries Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences was held during the 10th Guangzhou International Fishery Fair from September 25 to 27, 2024. The forum will help farmers grasp the rhythm of the industry, sort out the chain of industrial chain, and jointly discuss the latest hot spots of China's aquaculture industry today through the teaching and sharing of academicians and experts.
