Guangdong Province Sea Bass Association is a provincial social organization approved by Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs under the new requirements of the development of national green aquaculture industry and sea bass in our province. On June 18, 2019, the first General meeting of members and the first Board of Supervisors were successfully held, and 17 members of the Board of Directors and 3 members of the Board of Supervisors were elected by secret ballot. Mr. Liu Qiang, Chairman of Guangdong Qiangjing Agricultural Group, was elected as the first president.

The Association assists in the implementation of the inter-governmental fishery agreement, establishes the exchange platform of the province's sea bass hatching center, establishes industry standards, and promotes friendly people-to-people exchanges and technical exchanges with the fishery circles of various countries (regions).
