In his 20th CPC report, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that we should develop the Marine economy, protect the Marine ecological environment and speed up the building of a maritime power. In 2023, the No.1 document of the central government proposed the construction of modern Marine pastures and the development of deep-water cages and aquaculture ships. China is a major maritime country and the world's largest fishery country. It has built 153 national Marine pasture demonstration zones and launched 21.77 million cubic meters of empty reefs, covering a total sea area of 2,507 square kilometers. Guangdong is a big Marine province, the Marine economic GDP accounts for about 1 / 6 of the province's total economic volume, rich fishery resources, with a coastline of 4114 kilometers, ranking first in China; rich Marine biological resources, provide unique advantages for the development of Marine pasture.

In order to implement the food security strategy, practice the big food view, and strive to build "Guangdong granary", the China International (Guangzhou) Marine Ranching Exhibition 2023 will be held on September 15-17，2023 at China Import & Export （Canton Fair）Complex in Guangzhou.Simultaneously held with the 9th China International （Guangzhou） Fisheries & Seafood Exposition 2023 and the Guangzhou International Aquaculture Exhibition 2023. The linkage of the three exhibitions can connect the upstream and downstream system resources, expand the brand influence, use the Marine pasture resources to realize the transformation and upgrading of the fishery, and drive and radiate the development of aquaculture, seedling breeding, processing, sales, tourism and other related industries. Through the way of "exhibition, exchange, cooperation and docking", the exhibition promotes the integrated development of Marine pasture and secondary and tertiary industries, and builds a modern ecological industrial platform of Marine pasture in the whole industrial chain.
