As a major maritime province, Guangdong has a vast sea area of 419,300 square kilometers and a coastline of 4,084.48 kilometers. Since the beginning of this year, Guangdong has written "expanding and strengthening Marine economy, accelerating the construction of a strong Marine province" and "vigorously developing Marine ranching and far-reaching Marine aquaculture" into the provincial government work report, and held the provincial Conference to promote the construction of modern Marine ranching, to press the "accelerator button" for Guangdong to explore the ocean and enter deep Blue.

We will do the basic work of the seed industry well and bring down the price of improved seed production in fisheries. We should vigorously develop deep-sea aquaculture equipment and smart fisheries, and promote the transformation and upgrading of Marine fisheries into information-based, intelligent and modern industries.

Effectively solve the technical problems of deep-sea aquaculture equipment and solve the problems of seafood storage and transportation. We need to take solid steps to prevent and control pollution in coastal waters, strengthen Marine ecological progress, and continue to improve the quality of the Marine ecological environment. We will strengthen the protection and restoration of Marine ecosystems, advance the protection and restoration of Marine ecosystems and wetlands, and build mangrove demonstration zones measuring 10,000 mu. We will accelerate the formation of a new pattern of coordinated green and ecological development in both near and shallow seas and deep seas, promote the transformation and upgrading of fisheries, and continue to turn our advantage in Marine resources into an advantage in development.
