Background:
China is the only major fishing country in the world that produces more aquaculture than it catches. With the improvement of people's living standard in our country, and the improvement of consumption structure, the proportion of fishery products in the diet structure increases continuously, the total value of aquaculture industry grows stably. Statistics show that in 2021, the total output of aquatic products in China reached 66,902,900 tons; The output of aquaculture was 53.944 million tons, accounting for 81% of the total output of aquatic products. The fishing output was 12.959 million tons, accounting for 19% of the total output of aquatic products. At present, our country has been firmly ranked the world's first fishery country, and aquaculture products accounted for more than 60% of the output of aquaculture in the world. Among them, Guangdong has maintained the first position of China's largest fishery province for two consecutive years. The total output of aquatic products and aquaculture both ranked first in China, with the total output of aquatic products reaching 9.076 million tons, up 2.8% year-on-year. The annual consumption of aquatic products in Guangdong exceeds 7 million tons, and the per capita consumption of aquatic products ranks first in China. Guangdong is the world's most important processing and distribution center of aquatic products.
2023 Guangzhou International Aquaculture Exhibition will be held in Guangzhou Canton Fair Exhibition hall in September15-17 ,2023. The exhibition will continue to combine online and offline integration, build a double-cycle bridge, innovate new exhibition development mode, and be the best platform for high-end product enterprises, processing enterprises and traders in the global aquaculture industry to enter the Chinese market and expand international market share.
The scale of the last exhibition reached 20000 square meters, attracting 436 enterprises at home and abroad to participate in the exhibition, attracting a total of 23,561 people to visit and purchase, online flow of 5.86 million people (B end flow of 2.56 million people +C end flow of 3.3 million people), driving the industry turnover of 1.18 billion yuan, attracting hundreds of media people to report the event.
